Troubleshooting Guide

A recent update to Intel RST software version 1711310072 has caused an issue with the Windows Security Chip TPM setting. This issue is indicated by the unknown device hardware ID ACPI MSFT0101, indicating a problem with the TPM module's driver.

To resolve this issue, follow these steps:

1. Go to Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Security > Device security.
2. Under Security processor, select Security processor details.
3. Select Security processor troubleshooting.
4. The device details will show ACPIMSFT0101.
5. If you switch to Windows 7 64-bit, you can install this hotfix.

Please note that there is no Windows 7 32-bit driver available for this device.
